It was with pleasure that our Partner and Head of the Arbitration Department, Dr. Amr A. Abbas, participated in a panel of experts discussing Virtual Examination of Experts and Witnesses at the Time of COVID-19. Dr. Abbas discussed actual experience of MBH in conducting virtual examinations in hearings held during COVID-19 time. Further, Mohamed Samy, Senior Associate at the Arbitration Team of the firm, took part in a panel discussion regarding the Applicable Laws in Arbitration at the annual AlexU-CRCICA Conference on 26th of March 2021, in which he elaborated on the consequences of excluding the applicable laws in arbitration under Egyptian law. Mohammed A. El Sherif, Junior Associate at the Arbitration Team of the firm, was also the Head of the organizing team of the Events.
