Nadia is a Partner at Matouk Bassiouny and a member of the Finance and Projects practice group with 10 years of experience. She has worked on numerous financings including projects, assets, real estate, acquisition financing, general corporate, and commercial matters. Her areas of expertise include energy, power, project financing, ports, transportation, aviation, and banking. Additionally, she worked on multiple matters in connection with the companies’ law relating to the establishment of corporate entities, giving advice on daily matters, organizing, and drafting various contracts.
Nadia has represented project sponsors, owners, and developers in a variety of projects throughout Egypt, Sudan, and the broader region, particularly in the energy sector, including oil & gas, power generation, and renewables (battery storage, solar, and wind).

- Representation of Red Sea Wind Energy S.A.E., a consortium comprised of ENGIE (35%), Orascom Construction PLC (25%), Toyota Tsusho Corporation (20%), and Eurus Energy Holdings Corporation (20%) in connection with the original and additional financing arrangements with a total amount of approximately USD 620 million to originally develop a 500 MW wind energy project located in Ras Ghareb together with an expansion of 150 MW, bringing the total capacity of the wind farm to 650 MW.
- Representation of a syndicate of banks comprising the National Bank of Egypt (“NBE”), the Commercial International Bank (“CIB Egypt”), and the Arab African International Bank (“AAIB”) in connection with a syndicated loan worth EGP 5 billion to the National Egyptian Railway Industries Company (“NERIC”) for the construction and development of an industrial rolling stock plant in the Suez Canal Economic Zone at East Port Said.
