Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy advises MNT-Halan on the IPO of MNT Tech Holding for Financial Investments on the EGX

Cairo, October 2026 – Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy is acting as Egyptian counsel to MNT-Halan and the selling shareholder, MNT Investments B.V., on the initial public offering and listing of MNT Tech Holding for Financial Investments, the Egyptian arm of the fintech group, on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The offering comprises 320 million existing shares, representing a 20% stake, in a fully secondary offering open to both institutional and retail investors. Following the offering, the parent company will subscribe to a closed capital increase of up to EGP 4 billion in new shares at the offer price. The offering is expected to complete in October 2026, subject to FRA and EGX approvals and market conditions.

Expected to be one of the largest IPOs in Egypt in recent years, the transaction marks a significant milestone for the Egyptian capital markets and for one of the country’s leading non-bank lenders, with MNT-Halan holding leading positions in Egypt’s microfinance, consumer finance and SME lending markets.
