Mohammed Sallam is a Counsel at Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy and a Dispute Resolution practice group member. He holds a dual master’s degree in law and economics from the University of Hamburg and Cairo University. He has been associated with the Arbitration practice since 2015. He has over ten years of experience in national and international arbitrations. He is a visiting instructor and speaker on international arbitration-related lectures and workshops at the American Bar Association in Egypt, CRCICA, and the British University in Egypt. He contributes to the American Bar Association’s initiative “Rule of Law” in Egypt, for training and developing young lawyers. Before joining MB&H, he practiced international arbitration disputes at the Hafez Law Office.

Mohamed has experience in complex arbitrations in many industries, with an emphasis on telecommunication, construction, oil & gas, shipping & logistics, investment, sports, hospitality, and cross-border business transactions disputes under Egyptian, Kuwaiti, and Saudi Laws. He has handled cases under the auspices of various rules including ICSID, ICC, CRCICA, DIS, ADCCAC, DIFC, CAS, FIFA’s DRC, and FIFA’s DC. As well as advising clients on arbitration-related court litigations including enforcement and nullification procedures of domestic and international arbitral awards.
